Foot Patrol Sign Up

Select any unfilled date indicated by green which you wish to patrol, next choose 5:00
(5:00 is a placeholder only, you may patrol at anytime you wish).

Enter your name and email in the dialog box that will appear below the calendar and then click volunteer.

You will receive a confirmation email soon after which includes further instructions. Additionally, a reminder email will be sent by the system the day before your date.

GUIDELINES: 

1.) Volunteers may walk, run, bike or drive any route they desire within our boundaries at any time period during the date that fits into their schedule. We only ask that you are out at least 20 minutes.

2.) Dress appropriately for the weather and wear high visibility/reflective clothing when walking. Bring a flashlight if walking at night.

3.) Always stay in the public right-of-way and use sidewalks whenever possible.

4.) If you see suspicious activity DO NOT INTERVE. Call 911 Immediately. 

5.) Do not carry weapons

6.) Carry a cell phone or other communications device. Let someone know your route and when you are expected to return.

7.) It is usually best to complete patrols in pairs.

8.) Do not patrol areas you deem unsafe or place yourself in uncomfortable situations.
