The next donation drop off for the Closet of Hope is Sun. March 28 from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. at Trinity Communion Church, 759 Winona Blvd. This program assists 14 local refugee families struggling with basic needs. The most needed items right now are girls' underwear, teen girls' clothing, and men's pants. Contact Sandy Klossner at sandeekay28@gmail.com for a complete list of needed items.

2021 Town Brush Pick Up Schedule

With spring yard clean up underway, the Town of Irondequoit has posted the schedule for curbside brush pickup. Winona Woods is in the Southwest Quadrant and pickups are scheduled for the weeks of: April 19, May 17, June 14, July 12, August 9, September 6, October 4, and November 1. Guidelines and more information can be found here.
