Thank you to everyone who has registered to host a yard sale and our super volunteers who helped plan and organize this much anticipated event! There are more than 75 sale sites throughout Winona Woods and Parkside.
Important Tips for the Weekend:
--The sales run Fri.-Sat. Aug. 27-28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Rain or shine! Weather is looking sunny and comfortable.
--Map of all of the sale sites is here. We apologize for any omissions. While you can still register your sale, we are not able to add anymore to the map.
--Food trucks will be around both days:
• Le Petit Poutine on Fri. from 11:30-1:30 in front of Trinity Communion Church (759 Winona Blvd.) Pre-order here.
• Netsin's Ice Cream on Fri. from 1:15-3:30 p.m. at the Winona-Amerige Triangle.
• Rob's Kabobs on Sat. from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Winona-Amerige Triangle.
--Directional signs will be placed at street corners along St. Paul and at key intersections within the neighborhood.
--We are relaxing our rule about not posting items for sale in the Facebook group. Posts promoting your sale and/or specific items will be allowed beginning Friday morning until Saturday evening. They will be deleted on Sunday and then we're back to free stuff/curb alerts only.
--If you park your car on the street, please be mindful about which side of the street you're on. While there aren't any official parking restrictions this weekend, know that most of the roads are narrow and it's hard to accommodate cars parked directly across from each other or staggered in the road. Please use common sense! IPD will also have an extra presence in the neighborhood to address potential concerns.
