Crime Stoppers: Winona Watch Training

On Tuesday, October 7th Winona Watch again offered Neighborhood Watch training for our residents and others. This training took place at 7 PM at the St. Paul Blvd. Fire Department Community Room. With nearly 25 residents in attendance this brings the total number of trained residents to just under 50.

The training was lead by the Irondequoit Police Department and covered the basics of the Neighborhood Watch Program and outlined how to improve the safety and security of our neighborhoods. Winona Watch will offer training again this Spring and is in the process of organizing a foot patrol for next summer.

If you are interested in getting involved please fill out this form to let our Watch Chair, Mike Ratigan know!
