About

On February 3, 2014, over 50 residents gathered in response to flyers and Facebook invitations organized by Bradley Huber, our current president, around the idea of forming a neighborhood association.  The meeting was lively and the idea was very well received.  Volunteers started signing up right away and in a whirlwind first 6 months, we elected a board, appointed street captains, drafted a constitution and by-laws, established a Neighborhood Watch, organized a Community Yard Sale, became the first Greenlight Fiber Optic Internet District north of Rochester, became a Good Food Collective distribution point (with an overwhelming number of signups) and held our first annual Summer Picnic, among MANY other activities.

There are plenty of resources on this website to explore. Get started by checking out our printable brochure below or if you are brand new to Winona Woods why not have a look at the Town of Irondequoit’s  guide for new residents in order to get off on the right foot?
