Invigorate Irondequoit Recap

 

On Saturday May 2nd, 2015 more than 20 Winona Woods Residents gathered in order to participate in the annual town wide spring cleanup event- Invigorate Irondequoit. Participants gathered at Town Hall at 8:30 and were treated to coffee and doughnuts. Our group then headed out to Winona Woods  where we split into two teams in order to tackle the planting of five new street trees on Winona Blvd., Pontiac Dr. and LeGran Rd. Thanks to generous support from Broccolo Tree & Lawn Care Winona Woods was able purchase these beautiful trees at cost. After we wrapped up many of us met back up at Town Hall for lunch. Next time you are out and about take a look at our new trees!
